TNC ends MPL PH S12 run with win, blocks RSG's UB hopes

MAKATI - TNC Pro Team ends their MPL Philippines Season 12 regular season in winning ways as they secured they second straight win over playoffs-bound RSG Philippines, two games to one, on Sunday.

Coach Jemson "Scholar" Ignacio's side denied RSG PH an upper bracket seat, with current second-seeded team AP.Bren clinching their seat as well as their sure top-four position.

The Phoenix Army even the odds against the Raiders, who dumped them 2-0 last September 24, where John Darry "Irrad" Tuason leading the team.

However, RSG Philippines take the first game of the tie off from a MVP performance with him contributing to all 20 kills with the Mathilda while only falling three times, while Irrad's Baxia took all but one lord along with three kills and 14 assists.

King Cyric "K1NGKONG" Perez's jungle Grock did not have an easy game with only a kill and four assists along with five deaths while Ben "Benthings" Maglaque's roam Popol and Kupa registered 0/3/6.

TNC however has a commanding 14-3 second game as K1NGKONG's jungle joy enjoyed eight kills and five assists while getting all three turtles and the sole lord of the 13-minute games.

Jetson "Goyo" Ignacio's Yve registered 5/0/5 KDA while Irrad did not have the best fo days with a jungle Julian where he fell down five times while only getting one kill.

TNC rode on to their momentum with Goyo's Valentina getting the MVP nod with five kills and four assists to seal the deal for the Phoenix Army, while K1NGKONG's signature Fanny pick registered 5/2/4 KDA.

RSG's objective takes turn sour as Irrad's Lancelot did not see a single turtle or lord in their side, all falling into TNC's side, while falling four twice without a single win.

With the win, TNC ended the season with three wins and 11 defeats with 11 points, while RSG drops down to 22 points with 7-7 win-loss record.
