MANILA--Kaya Iloilo repeated over Stallion Laguna in the Copa Paulino Alcantara semifinals with a 2-1 win in their second leg on Friday night at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Kaya Iloilo secured the first seat in the championship match by not just sweeping its two-leg series against Stallion Laguna but also winning on aggregate, 4-2.

Ricki Sendra opened the scoring in the 18th minute as his strike from the right side of the penalty area already entered the goalmouth before Matthew Nierras cleared the ball away.

Substitute Zachary Ford, however, made a quick impact by slotting in the equalizer in the 28th minute for Stallion Laguna.

Disaster, though, struck for Stallion Laguna in the 48th minute when Abe Placito misplaced his clearance off a Daizo Horikoshi attempt and slotted the ball into his own goal instead as Kaya Iloilo retook the second-leg lead.

Kaya Iloilo will face either Davao Aguilas or Dynamic Herb Cebu in the final.

Davao holds a 1-0 aggregate lead over Cebu ahead of their rematch later Friday.
