MANILA--Looking to change its fortunes midway through the PBA Commissioner's Cup, Rain Or Shine brought in Demetrius Treadwell to replace Dajuan Summers as its import.
The Elasto Painters announced on Tuesday the arrival of Treadwell, who should easily make the cut in the six-foot-nine import height limit for the said conference as he is only listed at six-feet-seven.
Treadwell, who was undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft after three years with the University of Akron, spent most of his professional career in Israel, winning a league title for Hapoel Gilboa Galil in 2016 and leading the league in rebounds in 2018 for Hapoel Yossi Avrahami Eilat.
Treadwell spent the first part of the 2022-2023 season with Wonju in the KBL, teaming up with former Alab Pilipinas star Ethan Alvano, before moving to Goyang and back to Israel with Hapoel Ironi Ramat Gan.
Currently tied with Converge at the bottom of the team standings at 0-4, ROS will parade Treadwell in its Wednesday night game against San Miguel at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Also joining the Elasto Painters is former San Juan Knights guard Adrian Nocum, who was signed to a two-year deal on Monday.
Nocum will take over the spot that Sherwin Concepcion would vacate.
