MANILA - Weeks before the start of the M5 World Championships main event in the Philippines, TNC Pro Team began the offseason transactions, beginning with the immediate release of one of their younger players Tuesday.
"We would like to announce that Mark Laurence 'Bao' Cabigting is no longer affiliated with TNC Pro Team," the team said in a statement.
"While we appreciate the moments we shared, TNC remains committed to our fans and the whole MLBB community. TNC will forever uphold trust and integrity as part of our core values," the organization added, while not giving other details regarding Bao's release.
As fans speculate on the reason behind the EXP laner's release, TNC added to their social media statement pleading the supporters to not resort to bullying methods.
"We do not condone the act but we also do not condone cyberbullying. Let's all be better," TNC added while hinting on the reason for the termination of contract.
Bao was the latest addition to TNC's roster in Season 12, being promoted from their then-MDL team TNC Neo with the IGN MarkTzy.
He then made three series appearances for the Phoenix Army, all in Week 6, where he gathered a 2-1 series record, with the loss coming from ONIC PH and wins from eventual finalist Blacklist International and soon-to-be-MPLI champs RSG Philippines.
