QUEZON CITY - Blacklist International starts their lower bracket run as they trample friends and rivals Fire Flux Esports in the M5 World Championship on Monday.

It was the fifth meeting between Blacklist and a Turkish opposition, with the last meeting going on Fire Flux's side 0-2, but it was a different narrative for the Codebreakers.

Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo sparked the first game onslaught for Blacklist as his comfort Valentina pick scored three kills and three assists, while Edward Jay "Edward" Dapadap assisted seven on a 9-2 outing, with all two lords going to Blacklist's side.

The Turkish quintet makes Blacklist's life hard in the second game as Sidar "Tienzy" MenteÅŸe's Leomord went berserk with 10 kills and three assists in a 16-5 blowout.

The Fire Flux jungler grabbed all but one turtle along with seven of nine towers, while Renejay "Renejay" Barcase's Hilda did not have the best of days, falling six time with the Hilda.

But it was the last hurrah for Fire Flux and Blacklist dominated Game 3, 16-9 with Kiel "Oheb" Soriano's Claude tallying 7/0/8 and closing with a 17-minute Game 4 with a 12-4 trampling with Yue's Valentina once more getting the MVP nod with 4/1/4 KDA.

Fire Flux will go home with USD 30,000 in the bag as joint 7th-8th finishers along with the loser of the See You Soon - Burmese Ghouls series.

With the win, Blacklist will move on to the next stage and will wait for the loser of the AP.Bren versus Geek Fam.
