QUEZON CITY - Two Southeast Asian teams and one of the new regions' representatives shine in the third day of the M5 World Championship as the four groups begin to take shape Monday.
Debutants Team Lilgun from Mongolia entered the M5 main stage with a win, while Cambodian champions See You Soon grabbed their second win of the tournament.
Indonesia's runners-up Geek Fam meanwhile secured a crucial win to keep their tournament lives for one more series.
Zxaura leads Mongols against Hadess, Team Flash
It was history for one of the newest regions in the MLBB scene as Mongolia's Team Lilgun entered the M5 group stages win a victory over Singaporean champs Team Flash in a reverse sweep.
Bagabandi "Zxaura" Tegshjargal proved he's the one to watch out for the Mongolian side as he delivered two MVP performances, a 7/0/4 with the Martis in Game 2 and a 0/1/10 outing on Game 3 with the Fredrinn.
Singaporean gold laner Keith "Vanix" Lim helped Team Flash to clinch Game 1 with 3/0/5 on the Bruno but failed to capitalize on Games 2 and 3 as Lilgun dominated the map and the jungle away from Jaymark "Hadess" Lazaro's control.
See You Soon closer to the playoffs
Cambodian champs See You Soon inched closer to a playoffs spot as they take the victory over Middle Eastern champs Triple Esports in two games.
Coach Chhim "Catgod" Vitou's boys secured a quick 14-minute Game 1 win as Leng "SryImFelix" Kimhak bossed the EXP lane with 2/1/8 scoreline with the Arlott while Michael "MPTheKing" Endino tallied 5/0/5 with the Joy.

Sovann "Raa" Chanmakara worked the midlane Angela pick to secure the sweep over the MENA side as See You Soon puts up a 24-8 domination, with Raa getting seven kills and 11 assists.
Geek Fam puts TOB to brink of elimination
Jang "Hoon" Seong-hun and TheOhioBrothers continued to struggle in the M5 stage as Geek Fam Indonesia secured a much-needed win to keep their tournament hopes alive.
Allen "Baloyskie" Baloy delivered in the first game, 12-1, as the Filipino roamer tallied nine assists with the Minotaur, while Valent Agriansyah "Aboy" Putra's scored five kills and five assists for a 12-7 showing in Game 2.
Carlos "bestplayer1" Ortega Vega found himself struggling as, despite getting his Fanny and Martis comfort picks, did not grab a single major objective in the entire series.
Fire Flux vs. RRQ Akira headlines Day 4 quadruple-header
Four more games and eight teams will see action in the fourth day of M5, with Fire Flux Esports and RRQ Akira bannering in a battle of dark horses.
Burmese Ghouls will try to save their tournament lives against a hard-hitting Lilgun team fresh off from a victory, while Geek Fam will also see back-to-back action against another potential playoff hopeful in Deus Vult.
ONIC Esports meanwhile will see Triple Esports next, with the win securing them as well as See You Soon their playoff places for good.
