CSB clobbers Siniloan in PSL's 1st Lucena stop

LUCENA—College of St. Benilde continued its fine showing in the PSL after drubbing Siniloan, 112-90, on Saturday night at the Quezon Convention Center here.

The Blazers blasted off in the second quarter, dropping 38 points on the Dragons to pull away for good.

Gab Cometa led CSB, which moved up to 6-3, with 21 points on 7-of-13 field goals including 5-of-9 on threes, two rebounds, five assists, and one steal in just a shade over 18 minutes of action.

Ian Torres added 16 points on four triples, three rebounds, six assists, and three steals off the bench, while Jhomel Ancheta went perfect from the field at 4-for-4 for 12 points with four rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

Justine Alano fired 13 points with five rebounds and three assists for Siniloan, which fell to 3-11.
