MANILA - John Paul "H2WO" Salonga and Dexter "Exort" Martinez headline the Smart Omega rebuild for MPL Philippines Season 13 Friday evening.

The two, who were once teammates in Nexplay Esports in Season 7, will now don the Barangay Omega colors after the team finalized their lineup in a cinematic.

It will be H2WO's first team after sitting out for one season, while Exort returns after a one-season stint overseas with Malaysian side RED Esports.

H2WO and Exort were also two of the six new players arriving at the Barangay, with former Smart Omega Neos players Louis Gabriel "Louis" Ariola, Ryan "Rayl" Asaoka, Christian "West" Mangabay, and Mark Glenn "Marked" Florencio being promoted to the main team.

They will be joined by Season 12 holdovers Nowee "Ryota" Macasa, Ron Matthew "Matt" Papag, Jomari "Jowm" Pingol, and Carlito "Ribo" Ribo, Jr., to complete the 10-man roster.

Ronel "Stronger" Tan will still be calling the shots, with assistant coach Lemuel "Lembot" Lucban and analyst Allec "SN4P" Alberto joining him in the dugout.

Smart Omega's new roster will try to better their season after three straight first-round exits, finishing joint 5th-6th in the standings.
