MANILA—TNC scored a major coup in its rebuild ahead of MPL Philippines Season 13 by signing Jaylord Gonzales.

Gonzales, known by his in-game name Hatred, is returning home after embarking on an international career for two years.

Gonzales played for the Malaysian club SMG and the Cambodian squad Impunity as their Filipino import.

On the domestic level, he last played for Onic Philippines from 2020-2022, helping the team finish second in the M3 World Championship.

TNC's rebuild also saw Dean Sumagui and Czedrick Romero moving to the team after playing last year for Onic PH.

TNC's team for Season 13 also includes Christian Morada and another player who goes by the IGN Nomed.

Only Jetson Ignacio was retained from TNC's Season 12 roster.

Even TNC's front office was part of the major overhaul as Robee Pormocille returns as a player after spending last year as the team's analyst.

Ben Maglaque will now be the head coach of the squad after being the team captain last year, while Jemson Ignacio, the previous gaffer, will now be the team manager.

On Tuesday night, TNC introduced its Season 13 roster in style through a short film depicting the team's readiness to fight back in a war after a series of setbacks.

During a special screening of TNC's grand roster reveal at the Promenade Mall in San Juan City, director Ingrid Ignacio said that the reveal drew inspiration from World War 1 films 1917 and Dunkirk.

She added that the video was shot for two days in Pampanga and Bataan, devoting much time to post-production to include World War 1-themed special effects.
