BIÑAN—Caloocan spoiled a solid outing from Tony Ynot and Justine Sanchez in their first game back for Davao Occidental as the Luzon side clamped the Mindanao-based club, 89-81, in their PSL game on Saturday night at the Alonte Sports Arena.

The Supremos' balanced attack that saw all but two of their players getting some points was enough to hold off the Tigers, whose starters somehow struggled offensively.

Jeramer Cabanag made 17 points on four triples, one rebound, and one steal for Caloocan, which moved up to 8-2.

Gabby Espinas added 15 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and one steal.

Kelly Nabong fired 22 points on 7-of-10 shooting including 5-of-7 on threes, four rebounds, and one block for Davao Occidental, which dropped to 5-4.

Fresh from playing for Strong Group in the Dubai International Basketball Championship, Ynot and Sanchez combined for 23 points off the bench for DavOcc.

Kurt Lojera was the only other bright spot among the DavOcc starters with 11 markers as Josh Flores, Bam-Bam Gamalinda, and Jun Manzo were held to a combined 10.
