QUEZON CITY—Rey Nambatac's PBA career takes a huge turn as Rain Or Shine traded him to Blackwater in an approved swap on Wednesday.

In exchange, the Elasto Painters acquired two future draft picks from the Bossing, a first-round pick for Season 49 and a second-round pick for Season 50.

Both draft picks originally belonged to TNT, but Blackwater acquired them during previous trades.

The Season 49 draft is scheduled this year, while the Season 50 draft is happening next year.

Nambatac averaged 9.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in the Commissioner's Cup.

In what would be his final game as an Elasto Painter, he put up 16 points, three rebounds, one assist, and two steals in ROS's quarterfinal loss to San Miguel.
