MANILA—Rain Or Shine broke out of its early slump in the PBA Philippine Cup by ripping Phoenix, 100-85, on Sunday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Behind another impressive outing from rookie Adrian Nocum which included a 5-for-9 clip from beyond the arc, the Elasto Painters quickly turned things around after the Fuel Masters looked to finish them off as soon as the first quarter.

Phoenix took control of the first period and led, 29-22, entering the second, but ROS held them to just 12 points in the next quarter before dropping 31 in the third period to pull away for good.

Nocum finished with 28 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals for the Elasto Painters, who left the Converge FiberXers as the remaining winless squad in the standings after moving up to 1-4.

Beau Belga added 21 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists.

Ricci Rivero made 16 points, four rebounds, and two assists for the Fuel Masters, which fell to 1-3.
