MAKATI - Reigning MPL Philippines and World Champions AP.Bren extends their win streak to ten as they sweep RSG Philippines to end Week 2 Day 2 of the premier Mobile Legends: Bang Bang league Saturday.
Coach Francis "Ducky" Glindro's boys kept their MPL Philippines Season 13 clean as they were yet to concede a game in three series, after downing Blacklist International and TNC Pro Team.
However, they find a gritty RSG Philippines side with Coach Brian "Panda" Im Chang-rok keeping Nathanael "Nathzz" Estrologo and Arvie "Aqua" Antonio for the second straight series.
Kyle "KyleTzy" Sayson's Barats was the difference maker in a 15-minute Game 1, as the jungler tallied a kill and eight assists while not conceding a single death and grabbing all major objectives.
AP.Bren led throughout the economy game, getting as many buffs as possible while putting Jonard Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto's Baxia on the bay.
M5 Finals MVP David Charles "FlapTzy" Canon cam alive in the second game, contributing to all of seven AP.Bren kills against RSG's one, with Clarense "Kusey" Camilo getting the lone honor.
It was an overall dominance from the Bees, with skipper Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel's Nana being a thorn in RSG's midlane with 2/0/5 KDA, keeping Aqua away from major team fights.
Nathzz's Benedetta pick, a signature from his Season 9 days, was hard countered by FlapTzy's Cici, who grabbed the MVP nod while keeping the young Raider EXP laner at bay with the latter falling thrice.
Both teams will face Minana EVOS the next time, with AP.Bren looking to extend their unbeaten streak to 11 on Sunday, while RSG Philippines will try to better their 1-3 standing on April 5.
