MANILA—Robert Bolick converted the shot that mattered for NLEX in the end as the team gave Blackwater its first loss of the PBA Philippine Cup with a 103-97 win on Wednesday night at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

Fresh from a 46-point blast against the Converge FiberXers on Saturday night, Bolick went clutch this time, burying a dagger with 30 seconds left that sealed the deal for the Road Warriors.

The three capped a game-deciding 11-5 run that broke a 92-all tie within the final 2:05 of the game.

Bolick came close to a triple-double as he led the now 4-1 NLEX squad with 21 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists with two steals.

Jhan Nermal added 16 points and seven rebounds off the bench, while Robbie Herndon and Dom Fajardo each tallied 14 markers with Herndon also collecting 10 rebounds.

Rey Suerte also tallied 21 markers with seven boards, four dimes, and two blocks for Blackwater, which fell to a tie with NorthPort for third place at 3-1.
