MAKATI - Blacklist International adds three crucial points to the bag after fending off a pesky Minana EVOS side to close Week 5 Day 2 of the MPL Philippines Season 13 inside the Shooting Gallery Studios Saturday.

The Codebreakers also ended their four-game losing skid that started two weeks ago after winning a 2-0 series against Smart Omega in the first half.

Edward Jay "Edward" Dapadap came right out of the gate and did the dirty work for Blacklist, with his signature Paquito pick dealing four kills and five assists in a 13-4 beatdown of Minana.

Jann Kirk "Kirk" Gutierrez, one of the bright spots in Minana's three-game winning run, only logged two assists while dying six times, as Stephen "Sensui" Castillo comfortable takes all major objectives in the sub-11 minute match.

With all his main heroes banned and Floryn being checked in Game 1, Brian "SpiderMilez" Santos' pulls off another healer roamer in Rafaela, contributing to all of the Tigers' 16 kills in their win from a 26-minute skirmish with the Codebreakers in Game 2.

Blacklist took the lead for 20 minutes into the match, but Minana checked Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo's Luo Yi plays, which started the latter's catchup and eventually out-sustaining the former.

Kirk stepped up in the second game, dealing the most damage of all players with the X.Borg while Lance "Lancecy" Cunanan led the assist charts with 13.

Yue polished his Luo Yi gameplay in the rubber match, getting an MVP performance of 2/1/14 KDA as Blacklist claimed the win in an 18-minute game.

Salic "Hadji" Imam's Kaja and Kiel "Oheb" Soriano's Natan also shined in the third game, with the roamer posting 15 of 18 kill contributions, and the gold laner tallied 7/2/5 while leading all players in both gold and damage per minute.

Minana EVOS were dominated in the match with SpiderMilez and Ken "Kzen" Pile falling a combined eight times while main damage dealer Jan "Domeng" del Mundo was checked by both Hadji and Oheb on the latter stages of the game/

Blacklist will try to get all six points in Week 5 as they will battle TNC Pro Team on Sunday, while Minana EVOS will seek for an upset win against AP.Bren.
