MAKATI - Blacklist International inches closer to their playoff ticket as they take a 2-1 comeback win against a gritty TNC Pro Team in MPL Philippines Season 13, Sunday.

The Codebreakers secured their second win in a row and fourth in the season, despite an explosive first game from the Phoenix Army.

Rookie gold laner Rasec “Nomed” Sugarno put his name on notice as he claimed the first savage of the current season, with his Bruno getting five straight kills in the closing moments of Game 1, putting his KDA to 8/1/4.

Christian "HEADS" Morada also showed for the occasion, with his Benedetta plays creating space from the early and ending withg 5/2/6.

Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo upped his game in the second one, with his Vexana making the difference with five kills and six assists, while Salic "Hadji" Imam's Ruby tallying two kills and 12 assists.

Czedrick "Super Yoshi" Romero has a game to forget with his Minotaur getting five deaths and assisting six, as Kiel "Oheb" Soriano and Edward Jay "Edward" Dapadap's Purify spells further negating his setups.

Blacklist revealed a Selena in Hadji's hands for the rubber match, adding more vision for the Codebreakers with Yue already having the Novaria, while Jaylord "Hatred" Gonzales opted for a Luo Yi.

It took 20 minutes for Blacklist to flip the script, with the Abyssal Trap from Hadji being the game changer as Hate and company teleported to the top lane bush, with Blacklist setting them for a trap.

From there it was all downhill for the Phoenix Army as they fell one by one with Super Yoshi's Kaja being the last guard to an already exposed TNC base, which four Blacklist players locked in to secure the win.

Blacklist climbed to 13 points and a 4-6 record, putting themselves closer to a postseason appearance, while TNC sank to 1-9 and 4 points in their bag.

TNC will try to keep their playoff hopes alive as they will face ECHO on Friday, while Blacklist will try to secure their playoff place as they will seek a win against Smart Omega on Saturday.
