MAKATI - ECHO redeem themselves after their loss against AP.Bren as they sweep a struggling Blacklist International side to end MPL Philippines's Week 3 campaign Sunday.

The Orcas fielded Justine "Zaida" Palma and Jhonville "Outplayed" Villar once more as Karl Gabriel "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno and Benedict "Bennyqt" Gonzales took the backseat.

The switch made wonders for ECHO as they take Game 1 under Blacklist International's noses as the former denied the latter's attempt to contest the lord, taking all but Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo's Novaria to take the first win.

Outplayed's Roger did wonders for the squad, leading the team with seven kills and two assists, while Zaida's Fredrinn tallied 1/1/10 KDA while taking all major objectives.

Yue's Novaria contributed to all nine Blacklist kills but to no avail, as Edward "Edward" Dapadap was marked through the entire 17-minute game.

Both teams engaged in a much closer second game, with the Codebreakers even leading for a few minutes, but ECHO's positioning near the lord pit in the 18th minute costed them the match, with Edward's Arlott and Stephen "Sensui" Castillo's Baxia being taken down before the lord, who fell into Zaida's hands.

From there it all went downhill with Yue and Kiel "Oheb" Soriano being left to defend but to no avail, as Outplayed and company went into the tower lock.

The ECHO jungler was hailed the game MVP with six kills and an assist using the Joy, while Jaypee "Jaypee" dela Cruz's Minotaur assisted in eight of ten ECHO kills.

The Orcas will end their first half of the season with a match against Minana EVOS on Saturday, while the Codebreakers will meet Coach Panda and RSG Philippines on Friday..
