MAKATI--AP Bren was too much against Smart Omega on Friday night to continue their early dominance in the MPL Philippines Season 13 at the Shooting Gallery Studios.
Bren dominated their two games against Omega in their supposed best-of-three tie as they stayed unbeaten ahead of a much anticipated Saturday night battle against Echo.
AP Bren moved up to 5-0, all through 2-0 sweeps, while Smart Omega remained winless at 0-6 with a Sunday night match against Minana Evos, which lost to RSG Philippines earlier Friday, their last chance to get a win in the first round of the regular season.
With the result, AP Bren and Echo (4-0) will enter their showdown unbeaten with only one club staying that way after Saturday night.
