RSG PH is all smiles after snapping their three-match skid. Moonton |
MAKATI--The Holy Week break gave RSG Philippines ample time to regroup, and it worked wonders on Friday after sweeping Minana Evos in their MPL Philippines Season 13 match-up at the Shooting Gallery Studios.
In a battle between clubs with three-match losing streaks, RSG PH got the better of a back-and-forth early game in Game 1 en route to sealing the late-game brilliance and taking the best-of-three series opener.
In Game 2, Minana tried to make the same defensive approach that nearly pulled off an upset against Blacklist, but after the fourth Lord, RSG PH solved the Minana puzzle and completed the 2-0 sweep.
With the win, RSG broke a three-way tie with Minana and TNC and is now momentarily in fifth place with a 2-3 record.
Minana fell to seventh place, just above still winless Smart Omega, with a 1-4 record.
