MAKATI - ONIC Philippines scores their fifth win in a row as they squander a rather gritty TNC Pro Team side to end their MPL Philippines Week 3 campaign on a high note Sunday.

The Sonics, who are already third in the standings at 5-1, have Duane "Kelra" Pillas and King Cyric "K1NGKONG" Perez to thank for, with both marquee signings delivering for the team with MVP performances.

Kelra, using the Karrie in the first game, worked wonders for ONIC Philippines, getting six kills and four assists without falling once, as they dominated TNC, 18-5.

K1NGKONG's Fredrinn went to work as well with four kills and assisting 11 while getting all major objectives, as Jem "Jem" Lanojan's Terizla pulled three and assisted eight more.

The Sonics owned the early to mid-game, getting seven kills to three, and pretty much never looked back as they took advantage of the economy game and pushed further by the minute.

K1NGKONG shone in the second game despite TNC Pro Team showing a better Game 2 with former ONIC roamer Czedrick "Super Yoshi" Romero assisting in all 16 kills using the Mathilda.

The ONIC jungler, who played last season for TNC, scored four and assisted three with the Nolan, but has the rest of his former team blinded by pushing to the exposed base instead of joining the last-gasp clash.

Jem's Barats stopped Jaylord "Hatred" Gonzales' late-game heroics with the Aurora, devouring with the Detona's Welcome ultimate, putting the rest of TNC to fight back, all while K1NGKONG dashing to the mid-lane and taking the exposed base for ONIC.

ONIC will seek to end AP.Bren's unbeaten streak next Saturday, while TNC will try to get their second win against a winless Smart Omega side on Friday to begin their Week 4 campaign.
