MANILA--The Cagayan De Oro crowd became witness to Christian Standhardinger's dominant performance as he led Ginebra to a 105-93 win against hapless Converge in their PBA Philippine Cup game on Saturday night at the Aquilino Pimentel Jr. International Convention Center in the said city.

Standhardinger was almost unstoppable for the Gin Kings as he put up 33 points on 15-for-23 shooting, 12 rebounds, and two blocks as he imposed his will inside the paint.

He even flirted with a triple-double as he too had nine assists alongside two steals to complete a solid two-way performance for Ginebra, which pulled away in the third quarter by 35 points on Converge to break a 48-all halftime deadlock and open an 83-69 lead entering the fourth.

Maverick Ahanmisi added 17 points, six rebounds, seven assists, and one block for the Gin Kings, who moved up to 7-3.

Already clinching a quarterfinal berth as early as the late afternoon following NorthPort's come-from-behind win against Blackwater, Ginebra assured itself at least a Top 6 finish with the win in CDO, which means it will not enter the next round with a once-to-beat disadvantage.

Alec Stockton continued his late impression with 32 points, six rebounds, six assists, two steals, and one block to lead the FiberXers, who dropped to 1-9.

The loss, though, means that they will now have the number one pick in next season's draft.
