PBA: Magnolia turns tides in 2nd half to beat Phoenix

MAKATI—Magnolia unleashed its might in the second half to repulse Phoenix, 107-93, in their PBA Philippine Cup match on Sunday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.

The Hotshots bounced back from a 39-point blast from the Fuel Masters in the second quarter by outscoring them, 60-36, in the second half to seal the come-from-behind win.

Mark Barroca led Magnolia, which moved up to 3-2, with 27 points on 11-of-19 shooting, one rebound, four assists, and one steal off the bench.

Ian Sangalang also came off the bench to tally 23 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and one block.

RJ Jazul put up 21 points, one rebound, and five assists for Phoenix, which dropped to 2-5.
