BIÑAN—Quezon silenced the Alonte Sports Arena here on Tuesday night after giving Biñan an 85-61 beating in Game 1 of their PSL semifinal series.
The Titans turned to their defense to rip the Tatak Gel on the road, holding them to just 38 points after three quarters before opening a 31-point lead in the fourth quarter.
Will Gozum willed Quezon with 15 points, five rebounds, and three assists, while Judel Fuentes added 14 points, four rebounds, four assists, and one steal.
Jimboy Estrada led Biñan, which now needs to take Game 2 on Thursday night at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City to bring their semis clash back at home, with 12 points, two rebounds, two assists, and one block.
