MAKATI - RSG Philippines continue to ride on their momentum for the second straight week as they deal another 2-0 sweep, this time to Smart Omega, to start their second half campaign of the MPL Philippines Season 13 Regular Season, Saturday.

It was total masterclass from the Brian "Panda" Lim-coached quintet as they delivered two dominating games to the Barangay, who were fielding their veteran quartet and Jayson "UKIR" Alupit in the midlane.

The Raiders pulled all of the stops in Game 1 with a 22-7 beatdown of the boys in green, with Patrick "rTzy" Lim's Novaria dealing five kills and 17 assists including several Astral Sphere snipes.

However, it was skipper Dylan "Light" Catipon's Edith who grabbed the Game 1 MVP as his plays contributed to 18 of 22 RSG kill scores.

The Barangay only secured six buffs during the entire 14-minute match, without a single turtle or lord take, and did not even touch RSG's turrets.

RSG went into the second game more polished as they pulled a perfect 11-0 Game 2, with rTzy now getting the MVP  nod with three kills and eight assists with the Valentina.

Omega grabbed one turret in the entire 13-minute match, but the Raiders' onslaught was too much as rTzy and Clarense "Kusey" Camilo even went on to take down veteran roamer Carlito "Ribo" Ribo, Jr. inside Omega's own base.

With the win, RSG now sits at 5-3 with 16 points in the bag, while Smart Omega sinks to 1-7 and only four points in eight games.

RSG will try to go for their fifth straight win against a yellow-hot ONIC Philippines side on Friday, while Omega will try to flip the switch as they will see ECHO on the same day.
