MAKATI - TNC Pro Team's losing skid continues as they slip to the bottom of the MPL Philippines Season 13 table as Minana EVOS hands them a 2-0 beatdown to close their Week 4 campaign Sunday.
It was a resounding win for the White Tigers, who have extended their win streak to three, continuing their big momentum after pulling an upset against title contenders ECHO yesterday.
TNC started the first game on a high note, with Jaylord "Hatred" Gonzales's Aurora tallying four kills and five assists in 11 minutes and Christian "Heads" Morada's X.Borg having a 5/1/3 KDA, helping the team to lead by as much as 4,000 gold.
However, Ken "Kzen" Pile's crucial lord steal, combined with Hatred and Heads being shut down in the lord fight turned the tables for Minana EVOS, who didn't look back as Jan "Domeng" del Mundo's Natan led the way.
The Tigers' gold laner tallied five kills and five assists to grab the MVP nod while Brian "SpiderMilez" Sanchez's Floryn masterclass continues, contributing to 13 of his team's 14 kills.
It was a different story in the second game as Minana completely clobbers TNC, dealing 13 kills compared to the latter's three in 15 minutes, with Kzen's Martis scoring six kills and assisting five.
TNC did not get their hands on a single turtle or lord in the entire match, with Dean "Raizen" Sumagui's Fredrinn getting a lot of hits, falling five times while only getting one assist.
Lance "LanceCy" Cunanan and Jann Kirk "Kirk" Gutierrez contributed Minana EVOS's dominant second game, combining five kills and 15 assists without falling even once.
TNC Pro Team will try to score the upset of all upsets as they will face defending champs AP.Bren on Saturday, while Minana EVOS will try to continue their winning form against Blacklist International.
