BINAN--Ginebra coach Tim Cone conceded to reporters present at the Dasmarinas Arena on Wednesday night that he was outcoached by Meralco mentor Luigi Trillo in Game 3 of the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals.

As their series shifted back to Metro Manila, it was Cone's turn to give Trillo a beatdown.

The Gin Kings bounced back from their tough Game 3 defeat with a 90-71 romping of the Bolts in Game 4 on Friday night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

Ginebra waxed hot early on, racing to a 31-15 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Meralco somehow limited Ginebra's scoring in the second quarter, but a 26-17 third quarter virtually sealed the deal for the Gin Kings.

Japeth Aguilar led Ginebra, now tied with Meralco in the series again at two games apiece, with 21 points, six rebounds, two blocks, and one steal.

Scottie Thompson and Christian Standhardinger, who were off in Game 3, each added 15 markers with the latter coming close to a triple-double with 10 rebounds and eight assists.

Chris Banchero and Allein Maliksi each tallied 14 points for Meralco.
