BINAN--Manila rode on the hot hands of Ef Escandor to blast Quezon City, 76-57, in their MPBL clash on Thursday night at the Alonte Sports Arena.
Escandor was almost flawless from long range, hitting 5-for-6 on threes as he helped Manila pull away from QC in the third quarter.
The former La Salle gunner ended up with 19 points with four rebounds and two assists off the bench for Manila, which has now won three straight games to move up to 8-4.
Didat Hanapi, who also contributed to Manila's third-quarter breakaway, added 14 points, two rebounds, and two assists as a substitute.
Brandrey Bienes also had 19 points with one rebound and two assists to lead QC, which fell to 4-6.
