Aurora MLBB roster now official, V33wise as content directors

PARAÑAQUE - Lights up!

Serbian-based esports organization Aurora Gaming unveils their MPL Philippines Season 14 lineup during their launch event at PARQAL in Aseana City Saturday.

The roster consisted mainly of former Blacklist International players alongside new ones as they will take over the franchise slot from the now-defunct Minana EVOS.

The Light's call-ups

Edward Jay "Edward" Dapadap, Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo, and Renejay "Renejay" Barcase will now join the Light as the team's EXP Laner, mid laner, and roamer/support, respectively.

Jonard Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto took his talents to Aurora after several seasons within the RSG organizations in both Philippines and Singapore, while Jan Dominic "Domeng" del Mundo was the sole Minana EVOS player to join the team.

Ben "Benthings" Maglaque formally joined the team as their backup roamer/support as he let go of the TNC Pro Team's coaching duties and returned to active player status.

Amiel "Master the Basics" Jiandani and Dexter Louise "Dex Star" Alaba will reprise their roles as the team coaches for the sky blue and purple, as Elrasec "Rada" Ocampo returns to managerial duties with the new team.

V33wise on non-player duties

The duo of Johnmar "OhMyV33nus" Villanuna and Danerie "Wise" del Rosario will not be in the team's active roster and was announced as the club's Esports and Gaming Content Directors.

The two will work with the team's marketing and creative department and will stand as the team's ambassadors.

"They've been through everything and they know exactly what they're doing," Aurora Gaming said in their press statement. "We also recognize that their roles are set to expand beyond this as we all continue to grow in the future."

Hunters in for MDL

Aurora also revealed their MDL Philippines Season 4 lineup, going by the name of Aurora Hunters.

The academy team is composed of Malik, Drin, Yuki, Catzo, Kaizu, and Eskapo, and  Kapitan will lead the team as the head coach.

Malik, a former Bren Esports jungler, last suited up with TODAK during MPL Malaysia Season 11, with Drin came back to the country after a stint in MPL Latin America with DreamMax Esports.
