MANILA - A new breed of codebreakers has been unveiled.
Blacklist International formally announced their ten-man lineup for the MPL Philppines Season 14, Sunday, on their social media handles.
The Codebreakers retained the services of long-serving mid laner Salic "Hadji" Imam and gold laner Kiel "Oheb" Soriano, alongside reserve roamer Kim "Kimpoy" dela Cruz.
Vets, balikbayans join the agency
Seven new faces will don the famed black and white this season, with three MPL Philippines mainstays and four players returning from overseas stints.
Former Team Liquid PH gold laner Jhonville "Outplayed" Villar, former Smart Omega mid laner Dexter "Exort" Martinez, and former Minana EVOS roamer John "Perkz" Sumawan formally joined the agency.
Jungler Mark Vincent "MarkTzy" Pagaduan, who last played for Geekay Esports in MPL MENA, former See You Soon jungler Michael "MP The King" Endino, and former Bigetron Alpha EXP laner Jhon Marl "Lord JM" Sebastian will return to MPL Philippines, as well as Gerald "Dlar" Trinchera.
Dlar, who spent the last two years overseas, will return to the country after hopping on to EVOS Legends in 2022 and having a brief stint with Burmese Ghouls until April.
New coaches on the block
Coach Kristoffer "Bon Chan" Ricaplaza and assistant coach Mark Jayson “Eson” Gerardo were also holdovers by the Tier One-backed side from last season.
Alongside Bon Chan and ESON are two new coaches as Kurt “SUPER KURT” Recto and Jayson “BomBi” Echem will join the fray.
SUPER KURT began his coaching career in the MPL as Minana EVOS' analyst before jumping ship to Blacklist after his team disbanded last July, while this will be BomBi's first stint in the MPL Philippines coaching duties.
