MANILA--Even if with Scotty Hopson finally playing, Rain Or Shine still blew by Converge for a 119-108 win in the last game of the Kadayawan Invitational Basketball Tournament preliminaries on Saturday night at the University of Southeastern Philippines Gym in Davao City.

The Elasto Painters bludgeoned the FiberXers from the get-go, racing to a 38-17 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looking back from thereon.

Aaron Fuller put up 25 points, while Andrei Caracut added 20 for ROS, which finished the classification phase at 3-0.

The team can complete the sweep if it repeats over La Salle in the championship game on Sunday night.

Schonny Winston put up 24 markers, while Hopson, making his preseason debut, added 23 for Converge, which can still finish at the podium if they beat Phoenix in the battle for third.
