Aurora grabs 2nd win, dominates RSG PH

MAKATI - Aurora Gaming continues its rise to the top of the MPL Philippines Season 14 standings with a commanding 2-0 victory over RSG Philippines, wrapping up the season's first week at the Green Sun Hotel last Sunday.

The Northern Lights have established themselves as one of the teams to beat this season, securing their second win and remaining unbeaten after four games.

Superstar EXP laner Edward Jay "Edward" Dapadap led the charge for Aurora in Game 1, dominating with a 17-5 victory in just 16 minutes of gameplay.

Edward delivered five kills and assisted in nine more with Arlott, halting RSG in their tracks and supporting Jonard Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto's flawless 4/0/7 performance with Julian.

Coach Brian "Panda" Im's team managed to secure only one turtle, losing everything else to Aurora as they failed to take down a single turret the entire game.

John Darry "1rrad" Tuazon's Benedetta ended with a 2/3/2 scoreline, while Clarense "Kusey" Camilo's Roger had little impact, managing only two assists and falling once.

Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo stepped up for Aurora in the second game, leading them to close out the match with a 12-7 scoreline. His Zhask secured five kills and seven assists while only dying once.

Dominic "Domeng" del Mundo's Roger contributed with three kills and five assists, while Demonkite's Julian bounced back, winning two lords against Irrad's Hayabusa, who secured three turtles.

Aurora will face current Snapdragon Pro Series champions Falcons AP.Bren on Saturday, while RSG will have a lone game this week against TNC Pro Team.
