MANILA--KJ McDaniels came alive in the fourth quarter to help Pelita Jaya pull away from Satria Muda and score an 82-70 win in Game 2 of the IBL Finals on Saturday night at the Indoor Stadium Sport Center in Tangerang, Indonesia.

The former MVP Group import in the PBA scored 12 of his 25 points in the final period, matching Satria Muda's entire output in the final 10 minutes.

Satria Muda did try to stay close against Pelita Jaya, but Justin Brownlee hit what would be the dagger three with 1:48 left to ice the home team's win.

McDaniels went 7-for-7 from inside the three-point arc even as he added five rebounds, five assists, one steal, and two blocks for Pelita Jaya, which forced the best-of-three finals series to sudden death Sunday back at the Indoor Stadium Sport Center.

Brownlee and Anthony Beane each added 14 markers as the former will play one more game for his Indonesian club before he returns to Ginebra for the PBA Governors' Cup starting on Aug. 18.

Reynaldo Garcia paced Satria Muda, which still took the lead late in the third quarter before Pelita Jaya restored order in the fourth, with 19 points, two rebounds, and two assists as his team failed in its first chance to close out the series.
