QUEZON CITY--Blackwater is flying in an import to replace Ricky Ledo, but it's not Cameron Clark.

The Ever Bilena franchise signed up George King to become its new import as Clark, supposedly making a third tour of duty in the PBA, suddenly became unavailable.

Team governor Silliman Sy confirmed the development to Dugout Philippines on Monday, saying that Clark begged off at the 11th hour due to a family emergency.

King, listed at six-feet-six, was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the second round of the 2018 NBA Draft, but he was stellar with the Suns' G-League affiliates, the Northern Arizona Suns, during his rookie year, averaging 15.5 points on nearly 48 percent shooting including an impressive 43.3 percent clip from beyond the arc and 5.3 rebounds per game.

The University of Colorado alumnus then bounced around European squads during the next two seasons, playing for Dolomiti Energia Trento in Italy, Enea Zastal BC Zielona Gora in Poland, and Niners Chemnitz in Germany before finding himself back to the G-League, this time with the team now known as the San Diego Clippers.

King then signed up with the Illawarra Hawks in the Australian NBL, but his stint was cut short with a season-ending leg injury.

He re-signed with the Clippers after he recovered but he was eventually let go and ended up joining Ironi Ness Ziona in Israel instead.

King, now 30 years old, will be playing in Asia for the first time in his career.

He is expected to arrive on Wednesday even as the Bossing look to activate him for their Friday night game against Barangay Ginebra at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.
