MANILA—Rain Or Shine came alive in the clutch to steal a 73-64 come-from-behind win against Ginebra in the first PBA Governors' Cup non-Mega Manila game on Saturday night at the Candon City Arena.
The Elasto Painters stole the win after finishing the game on an 11-0 run within the last 3:53 sparked by three free throws from rookie Felix Lemetti and ended with a three-ball from him as well.
Aaron Fuller led ROS, now 2-0 in the team standings, with 15 points, 23 rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block.
Andrei Caracut added 14 markers, two rebounds, and two assists.
Japeth Aguilar put up 20 points, nine rebounds, one assist, and two blocks to lead Ginebra but was held to only five points in the second half, all in the fourth quarter, while also committing five turnovers.
Justin Brownlee, fresh from winning the IBL crown for Pelita Jaya, added 18 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and one steal in his Ginebra return.
