PBA: Meralco joins logjam at top of Group A with rout of hapless Terrafirma

MANILA—Meralco added some more frustrations to slumping Terrafirma after drubbing them, 107-91, in their PBA Governors' Cup game on Wednesday night in the league's first stop for Season 49 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

The Bolts quickly deposed the Dyip after outscoring them, 31-19, in the first quarter and never looked back.

Allen Durham paced Meralco, now in a three-way tie with Converge and TNT for first place in Group A, with 23 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Bong Quinto added 22 points on 8-for-11 shooting including 4-of-5 on threes, three rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

Stanley Pringle put up 19 points, five rebounds, six assists, and two steals for Terrafirma, who slipped further to 0-3.
