MANILA--San Miguel went full throttle in the second half to repulse Blackwater, 128-108, in their PBA Governors' Cup game at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
After the Bossing, who opted to play all-Filipino after letting go of import Ricky Ledo, surprised the Beermen with a strong second quarter, the PBA's winningest team responded with a 38-point third quarter to take a 94-82 lead before erupting for 34 more in the fourth to seal the blowout.
Jordan Adams exploded for 50 points on 6-of-10 shooting from three-point range, 11 rebounds, four assists, three steals, and one block for SMB, which moved up to 2-0 in Group A.
CJ Perez added 14 points, seven rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block, while June Mar Fajardo chipped in 13 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and one steal.
Troy Rosario made 25 points, six rebounds, one assist, and one block for Blackwater, which dropped to 0-3 as they await the arrival of new import Cameron Clark.
