MAKATI - Aurora Gaming doubles down on Team Liquid PH as they gave the defending MPL Philippines champs a 2-0 sweep in Week 6 of the regular season Friday.

The Cavalry, who reactivated Karl Gabriel "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno to the playing five in place of Justine "Zaida" Palma, found no answers to a more explosive Aurora side.

Team captain Renejay "Renejay" Barcase's Mathilda became superb for Aurora, giving three kills and dishing 15 assists, while Jonard Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto's Hayabusa put up eight and assisted four more.

Benedict "Bennyqt" Gonzales's Claude had a forgettable game with two kills and two assists while falling down four times, as Jann Dominic "Domeng" del Mundo gets a commanding lead on his lane.

Demonkite's jungle X.Borg once again shine for Aurora as he tallied eight kills and eight assists without falling once, while Renejay's surprise Rafaela pick helped with two kills and 14 assists.

Edward Jay "Edward" Dapadap's 4/4/9 KDA made wonders as he keeps Sanford "Sanford" Vinuya on bay, getting only a single kill while falling four times.

Aurora will see TNC Pro Team next week in hopes of booking their playoffs ticket, while Team Liquid PH will try to stop Smart Omega on their tracks tomorrow.
