MAKATI--Blacklist International finally broke out of its slump in the MPL Philippines Season 14 with a 2-0 sweep of TNC on Saturday at the Green Sun Hotel Ballroom.

Behind brilliant endgame plays, Blacklist finally tallied a match win for the second semester while sending TNC to a winless first round.

In Game 1, despite Salvick Tolarba heating up late with a surprise Melissa pick, Blacklist sustained its brilliance, especially after a crucial double kill from Michael Endino's Hayabusa during the Lord fight which sparked the team's final blast.

Game 2 saw TNC having a solid early game, but just when the team was losing steam, Salic Imam, who was the designated midlaner for the series, used his Luo Yi to teleport his teammates near the TNC base to deliver the final blow.

Blacklist will end the first round in seventh place at 1-6, 1.5 matches behind RSG Philippines for the last playoff spot with the full second round coming up next week.

RSG PH will play Smart Omega later on Saturday.
