MALVAR, Batangas—The bonuses keep on growing for the Filipino Paris Olympics medalists as it was Aice Ice Cream's turn to hand out some special prizes.
In a special event on Thursday at the Holiday Inn and Suites Batangas Limapark here, Aice Philippines gave Carlos Yulo PHP2 million for his two gold medals in gymnastics.
Boxer Nesthy Petecio also received PHP300,000 from Aice during the event.
As an added treat, Yulo, Petecio, and Eumir Marcial got a chance to see how Aice's dairy products are being manufactured inside the ice cream brand's plant just nearby.
Although they missed the plant tour, Hergie Bacyadan and Joanie Delgaco also graced Aice's event honoring the recent crop of Olympians.
All the athletes present at the event were given a free supply of Aice Ice Cream products as a reward for their strive to give honor to the Philippines.
Aira Villegas, the other medalist during the Paris Olympics, was not in attendance during the plant tour and cash incentive giving, but last week, she visited the Aice plant, where she got her own PHP300,000 bonus.
