MAKATI - Reigning world champions Falcons AP.Bren extended their winning streak to five as they swept a struggling TNC Pro Team, continuing their MPL Philippines S14 campaign on Friday at the Green Sun Hotel.
It was a quick series for The Hive, who played a total of just 24 minutes across both games against the multi-esport organization.
TNC held a sizeable lead from the early to mid-game in Game 1, putting FCAP on the edge of their seats until the first lord fight.
However, Game 1 MVP Rowgien "Owgwen" Unigo's Lolita turned the tide by stealing the lord despite being outnumbered by three, leading The Hive to claim the game.
Owgwen recorded six assists without dying, while Kyle "KyleTzy" Sayson's Julian posted four kills and two assists, with only one death.
Game 2 told a different story, as FCAP secured a quick sub-10-minute victory, completely dominating TNC.
KyleTzy's Julian led the way again with a 4/0/5 performance, spoiling the return of the roam Baxia in the hands of Jomearie "Escalera" Santos.
Falcons AP.Bren will conclude their first half of the season against league leaders Fnatic ONIC PH, while TNC will aim for their first win against fellow bottom-dwellers Blacklist International.
