MAKATI - Reigning world champs Falcons AP.Bren moves closer to their upper bracket slot as they frustrate a struggling RSG Philippines side, 2-0, Sunday inside the Green Sun Hotel.
It was a sigh of relief for the Hive, who were on the receiving end of an upset last Friday at the hands of Blacklist International and gave the former their third loss of the season.
Rowgien "Owgwen" Unigo's Tigreal came out of top for FCAP as he led the team to a 12-8 victory in a 19-minute bout, while captain Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel's Vexana put up 4/0/7.
RSG's jungler John Darry "1rrad" Tuazon enjoyed a solid 3/1/0 KDA but wasn't able to grab any of the two lords after securing two of the three turtles of the game.
Counterpart Kyle "KyleTzy" Sayson capitalizes on the late game with his Fanny joining Owgwen in the conceal play then going straight to the exposed RSG base to end the game.
Pheww's reliable Faramis came to play in Game 2, with the mage-support getting a great 3/1/5 KDA to lead Falcons AP.Bren, while David Charles "FlapTzy" Canon's Hylos enjoyed a 2/1/5 performance.
Arvie "Aqua" Antonio's 1/1/2 performance with the Valentina went to naught as he was unable to dish any damage to FCAP's turrets while losing all of their own.
With the win, Falcons AP.Bren climbed to eight wins and three losses with their lone Week 7 match against a surging Smart Omega in their sights, while RSG will try to look for answers on their tough Week 7 campaign against Team Liquid PH and Fnatic ONIC.
