MAKATI - Six straight for the Sonics.
Fnatic ONIC Philippines continued their impressive form in MPL Philippines Season 14, securing a 2-0 sweep against the struggling RSG Philippines on Friday.
The Raiders suffered their fourth loss of the season, following a 2-0 victory over the winless Blacklist International last week.
Meanwhile, this marks the second consecutive sweep for Fnatic ONIC after similarly dominating Smart Omega.
Game 1 was a one-sided affair, with John Darry "1rrad" Tuazon having a rough outing on Fanny, managing only an assist while dying three times.
Jhondy "Nibor" Ranque's Edith also struggled, falling four times.
On the other hand, King Cyric "K1NGKONG" Perez’s Ling secured three kills and four assists, while gold laner Duane "Kelra" Pillas grabbed four kills and two assists on Roger, despite facing Dylan "Light" Catipon's roamer Helcurt.
Light was the only bright spot for the Raiders in Game 2 as they endured a 2-12 beatdown from Fnatic ONIC, managing to secure RSG's only two kills.
However, 1rrad continued to struggle, conceding three deaths once again on Fanny.
Super Frince's Mathilda became a constant nuisance for RSG, dishing out eight assists from the midlane. Jann Kirk "Kirk" Gutierrez’s Edith led FNOP with four kills and six assists, further cementing their dominant performance.
Fnatic ONIC will aim to finish the first half of the regular season undefeated as they face Falcons AP.Bren, while RSG will take on Smart Omega on Saturday.
