MAKATI - Current MPL Philippines Season 14 league leader Fnatic ONIC Philippines prolongs their win streak to ten games as they give TNC Pro Team a 2-0 beatdown Saturday inside the Green Sun Hotel.
It was a decisive victory for the Hedgehogs, who were now one series win away from tying the MPL Philippines record of 11 set by Blacklist International last Season 8, and ECHO last Season 12.
FNOP's midlane maestro Frince "Super Frince" Ramirez put up five kills and seven assists with the Yve as they delivered a 15-7 win against the Phoenix Army, finishing the game below 19 minutes.
King Cyric "K1NGKONG" Perez's Nolan had a great game with three kills and seven assists, while Lance "LanceCy" Cunanan's Luo Yi led TNC with a 3/1/3 KDA.
Coach Caisam "Wolf" Nopueto's men put up a better fight in Game 2 but were put to naught as Duane "Kelra" Pillas's Alice pick stepped up with seven kills and nine assists.
Super Frince's Yve did wonders once more, contributing to 18 of 20 total kills, while midlane partner Borris "Brusko" Parro contributed to 19.
Fnatic ONIC will try to equal the record against a playoffs-hunting Aurora Gaming, while TNC have their playoffs chances on the line against Smart Omega on Sunday.
