MANILA - Kaya FC-Iloilo suffers a heavy defeat against Japanese side Sanfrecce Hiroshima, 3-0, Thursday, to start their AFC Champions League Two campaign inside the Edion Peace Wing Hiroshima.

Hiroshima went knocking on Kaya's door immediately, with Aren Inoue's shot being saved by goalkeeper Patrick Deyto in the third minute.

Kaya held on to Sanfrecce's relentless attacks up until the 37th minute when Brazilian forward Douglas Vieira converted a Makoto Mitsuta pass into a goal that went past the Kaya defense.

The score remained up until the 54th minute with Mitsuta finding substitute forward Gonçalo Paciência to give the home side their second goal of the game.

Mitsuta completed the hat-trick of assist as he found Osamu Iyoha off from a corner in the 64th minute to complete the scoreline.
