MAKATI - The current best is now one ahead of the world's best.

Fnatic ONIC Philippines continued their winning form with a thrilling three-game victory over Falcons AP.Bren, capping off their first-half campaign in MPL Philippines Season 14.

It was a reverse sweep for the Hedgehogs, as The Hive took Game 1 before Fnatic ONIC clawed their way back to win the next two games.

Marco "Super Marco" Requitiano’s Moskov carried FCAP in Game 1, securing a maniac alongside three assists. Meanwhile, Rowgien "Owgwen" Unigo’s roam Terizla was effective, contributing four assists while dying only once.

In Game 2, Frince "Super Frince" Ramirez led Fnatic ONIC with two kills and eight assists on Luo Yi. His clutch Diversion play in the dying minutes split FCAP, allowing FNOP to catch them off-guard and tie the series 1-1.

The two titans battled in a back-and-forth Game 3 that lasted 19 minutes, until Borris "Brusko" Parro’s Khufra landed a crucial Tyrant’s Rage on David "FlapTzy" Canon’s Phoveus, initiating a team fight that left Super Marco and Owgwen as the last defenders, but they couldn't hold out.

With this victory, Fnatic ONIC solidified their position at the top of the standings, while Falcons AP.Bren retained second place, staying ahead of third-place Aurora Gaming by head-to-head record.

Fnatic ONIC will face defending MPL champions Team Liquid PH on Friday to kick off their second-half campaign, while FCAP will take on the struggling TNC Pro Team on Saturday.
