PBA: Behind Arvin Tolentino's triple-double, NorthPort blasts Terrafirma to boost playoff bid

MANILA--Arvin Tolentino showed on Sunday night that he is more than just a prolific scorer as he tallied a triple-double to lead NorthPort to a 133-107 blowout win against Terrafirma in their PBA Governors' Cup second-round meeting on Sunday night at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Tolentino, who scorched for 51 points against the Converge FiberXers on Aug. 29, displayed his other facets of the game against the Dyip, tallying 11 rebounds and 10 assists alongside 23 points to complete his triple-double as the Batang Pier welcomed back Venky Jois and William Navarro with a win.

Jois and Navarro, who surprisingly sat out NorthPort's last game against Magnolia to recover from ankle injuries, put up 26 and 18 markers, respectively.

Jois also had 15 rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and two steals to lead the Batang Pier, who moved up to 3-3.

Christian Standhardinger put up 22 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and three steals, while Didat Hanapi added 20 points, one rebound, and one block for Terrafirma, which remained winless at 0-6.
