MANILA—June Mar Fajardo saved San Miguel from Felix Lemetti's huge moments with a buzzer-beater to seal a 113-112 win against Rain Or Shine in an anticipated PBA Governors' Cup game on Thursday night at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Fajardo hit a jump shot just inside the three-point line off a CJ Perez assist right at the final buzzer to spoil Lemetti's clutch moments that could have kept the Elasto Painters perfect.

With only three seconds to set up the game-winner, Fajardo rushed to their offensive zone and received a long pass from Perez for the midrange shot.

The ball bounced at the front rim first but it eventually went in to the delight of the Beermen and the disgust of the Elasto Painters, who thought they had it after Lemetti's clutch moments.

After hitting a stepback four and a quick three off the inbound earlier in crunch time, Lemetti anticipated that Chris Ross would foul him down three and quickly hurried a four-point attempt after he received the foul.

Lemetti went 4-for-4 from the foul line after the Ross foul, but Fajardo eventually spoiled his performance.

Jordan Adams put up 41 points, six rebounds, five assists, and one steal, while Fajardo added 27 points, 21 rebounds, one assist, and one steal for SMB, which moved up to 3-2.

Lemetti finished with 28 points on 7-of-11 shooting including 6-of-7 from deep, three rebounds, two assists, and one steal for ROS, which suffered its first loss after a 4-0 start.

Fuller added 24 points, 19 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block, while Adrian Nocum put up 21 points, two rebounds, one steal, and one block.
