MANILA—Rain Or Shine got back to the winning track after keeping Phoenix winless with a 122-107 win in their PBA Governors' Cup second-round clash on Tuesday night at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

The Elasto Painters pulled away in the fourth quarter after the Fuel Masters made things interesting in the first three quarters.

"Sinubukan naming i-contain yung mga locals nila. We feel that at some point, [Brandone Francis is] gonna get tired," coach Yeng Guiao said on what their defensive plan in the payoff period was.

"It happened in the fourth quarter. Siguro napagod na rin siya."

Gian Mamuyac paced the Elasto Painters, who lost to the San Miguel Beermen on a June Mar Fajardo buzzer-beater in their last game, with 14 points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals while going 3-of-6 from long range.

Adrian Nocum and Aaron Fuller led eight ROS players in double figures with 16 markers each even as both players achieved double-doubles with 10 and 11 rebounds, respectively, as their team is now up to 5-1.

Francis tallied 31 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals, while Jason Perkins added 22 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists for Phoenix, which dropped to 0-6.
