QUEZON CITY--Stephen Holt took over for Ginebra as the team sent NLEX back to earth after a huge stunner against San Miguel with a 119-91 rout in their PBA Governors' Cup game on Tuesday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Playing his best game so far since he was traded to the Gin Kings in a blockbuster pre-draft trade with the Terrafirma Dyip, Holt finished with 26 points on 11-of-19 shooting with 11 rebounds, six assists, and one steal for a solid all-around game.

Ginebra blasted NLEX early on by dropping 36 first-quarter points and built their momentum from there.

Maverick Ahanmisi added 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals for the Gin Kings, who moved up to 2-2.

Robert Bolick led the Road Warriors, who fell to 3-2, with 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting but was 0-for-2 from long range, five rebounds, three assists, and one steal.
