MANILA––TNT used a solid fourth quarter to pull away from Terrafirma for a 107-89 win in their PBA Governors' Cup game on Thursday night at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

The Tropang Giga went full throttle offensively in the final period after scoring 31 points against the Dyip, who lost steam after staying in step for most of the first three quarters.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, playing through an ankle injury, put up another solid game with 26 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, and two blocks for TNT, which tied Meralco again for first place in Group A at 4-1.

"I played through pain my entire life, so shrug them out and let's go," Hollis-Jefferson said on how he dealt with the pain.

RR Pogoy and Poy Erram each added 14 markers for the Tropang Giga.

Antonio Hester, held to only two points against Magnolia, bounced back with 23 points, 18 rebounds, two assists, and one steal, but it was not enough to prevent Terrafirma from finishing the first round of eliminations winless at 0-5.

Christian Standhardinger added 18 points, 14 rebounds, and four assists, while Stanley Pringle put up 12 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists.
